How we got here
In 2017, my friend Erin and I were both diagnosed with breast cancer in our thirties. No family history, no clear explanation.
Looking for answers, we learned that fewer than 15% of breast cancers are inherited. Researchers are still learning how much everyday exposures play a part, including the products already in our homes. We didn't want to wait to find out.
So we got to work like our lives depended on it. Because, well, they very much did.
We read ingredient lists, tested products, and rebuilt our own homes first. It was daunting, and it taught me the thing I now tell everyone: meaningful change doesn't have to be perfect. It just has to begin.
In 2024 Erin and I founded Good Better Best so nobody else has to work it out alone. — Angela

Angela Pacheco · Founder / Owner
Angela spent twenty years leading people and operations inside large organizations before this, which is where the discipline behind our systems comes from. She also knows first-hand how little time a working parent has, and builds everything around that. Her approach is nonjudgmental and flexible, because everyone's starting point is different.
